Location

All of the scientific sessions will take place in the Department of Chemistry, which is located on Lensfield Road (post code CB2 1EW); on this map the Department is shown as the "University Chemical Laboratory".

Overnight accommodation and meals (including lunch on Friday) will be in Downing College (postcode CB3 9EU).  On the map the entrance, which is on Regent St, is shown by a "bowler hat" symbol.

Eating and drinking

There are numerous snack bars, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs on Hills Rd and Regent St, which are immediately adjacent to the Department.

Sightseeing and shopping

The historic city centre is about 10 minutes walk away (simply follow Trumpington St or Regents St: map).  The main shopping area is in the centre.
