Weblink 10.2 Movie showing how key MOs change during the H^- + BH₃ reaction

This movie shows how various occupied MOs change during the reaction H^- + BH₃. The HOMO (MO4) starts out as a 1s AO on the hydride and ends up as a B—H bonding MO in BH₄^–. The other MOs change less significantly, remaining as B—H bonding MOs throughout.

• Select which MO to view using the menu (be patient - there is a lot of data to load!)
• Click "play once" to play through the movie once, or "loop" to run the movie continuously
• Pause the movie with "pause" and resume with "carry on"
• Alter the speed using the radio buttons
• Alter the view by clicking and dragging in the usual way
